Jim Long, 82 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. He was surrounded by his loving family. Jim Served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Stella Long, and his grandson, Philip Ericson. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann, four daughters and their spouses, Teri (John) Schubert, Linda (Virgil Brown) Ericson, Susan (Mike) Holley and Mariah (Lee) Long Watson. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Stella Long, and his grandson, Philip Ericson. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann, four daughters and their spouses, Teri (John) Schubert, Linda (Virgil Brown) Ericson, Susan (Mike) Holley and Mariah (Lee) Long Watson. Grandchildren, John Morgan Schubert, Ryan, Mathew, and Michael Ericson, Katie, and Alison (Gareth Aye) Holley. Great grandchildren, Morgan, Skylar, and Albee. His sister Janice Norman. The family will receive friends on Thursday May 18, 2017 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Chapel of Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at The East Veterans Cemetery on John Sever Highway.
